Smoked Turkey

When I was at the grocery store they had turkeys on sale for 39 cents a lb. I've never made more than a turkey sandwich, but for this price I figured what the heck. Since I don't really mess with the oven I decided I should bust out the smoker and see what happens. To my surprise it was one of the best turkeys I've ever had. Maybe I'll need to make another grocery store run before Thanksgiving.

You've inspired me to try a beer can chicken recipe I have. I didn't have any beer cans so I had to use V8 juice cans and a bottle of Stout (Rogue Shakespeare).
